ready to feel better?

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice with a history spanning more than 2,000 years. Today, it is increasingly researched and used in the UK, particularly to support pain management, relaxation and overall wellbeing. From a Western perspective, acupuncture is commonly used to support musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions. Many people also seek acupuncture to support stress and emotional wellbeing, relaxation, and a range of health concerns, including digestive issues, menopause and hormonal concerns and specific health conditions, such as asthma and eczema. Traditional Chinese medicine takes a holistic approach, considering the individual patient as a whole. Acupuncture works with the body’s Qi (energy) to encourage balance and support the body’s natural processes, with treatment tailored to your physical and emotional needs.
I hold a BSc in Acupuncture, with training in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture. This allows me to draw on a range of techniques, including acupuncture, moxibustion, Gua Sha and cupping, depending on your individual needs and treatment goals. I have also undertaken additional training in paediatric acupuncture, treating babies, children and teenagers. I am a full member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Hub of Paediatric Acupuncture.
Every treatment is personalised, beginning with a thorough consultation and detailed health history.
This allows us to create an approach tailored to you.

With 18 years of experience, I have extensive clinical experience in assessing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and movement-related concerns. These may arise from sports and physical activity, overuse, poor posture, or everyday life. Treatment uses safe, evidence-informed hands-on techniques to address both the presenting issue and potential underlying contributing factors. The aim is to reduce pain, restore movement and support longer-term improvements in function, mobility and posture.
Every treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation, including a detailed case history and physical assessment. This allows me to develop a personalised treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals. While everyone responds differently, many clients begin to notice improvements within the first session. I can also assist with arranging private diagnostic imaging, including MRI scans, helping you access further assessment with minimal waiting times when clinically appropriate.
